Comfort food is simple. It is heartwarming. It is nourishing. It is home.
It began with a slice of cake. Chef Baba Ibazeta Benedicto has built a loyal following over the years for her delicious, classic desserts at the successful Classic Confections. One of her most famous concoctions is Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion, named after her father. Baba’s latest venture, Nono’s, allows her to explore her passion for delicious comfort food.
From western staples to local favorites, Nono’s is all about doing comfort food right. The Homestyle Fried Chicken, for example, has become a favorite of diners and foodies alike because of our unique and delicious take on this comfort food classic. By serving its juicy and crispy chicken thigh fillet with house-made crispy and flaky waffles, we’ve created our own and distinct take on the beloved Chicken and Waffles, adding to our growing menu of delectable comfort food offerings.
